BJP has given responsibility to new state president, Jagdish Ishwar and Aditya Sahu in Gujarat-Jharkhand

Jagdish Ishwar Vishwakarma and Aditya Sahu

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed new state presidents in Jharkhand and Gujarat. The responsibility of Gujarat has been given to Jagdish Ishwar Vishwakarma and the command of Jharkhand has been given to Aditya Sahu.

Jagdish Ishwar Vishwakarma is the Minister of State in Gujarat. He has been elected MLA for three consecutive times from Nicole Assembly in Gujarat. He won the elections in 2012, 2017 and 2022.

At the same time, Aditya Sahu is a Rajya Sabha MP. He will replace Ravindra Kumar Rai. He has been made the executive president of Jharkhand BJP. He comes from the Vaishya community. Aditya is currently the General Secretary of the State BJP along with Rajya Sabha MP. Voters of Vaishya community affect defeat and victory in almost half of the 81 assembly seats in the state.

What did the party say?

A statement issued by the party said that the party’s national president JP Nadda has made this appointment. Sahu will replace former MP Ravindra Kumar Ray, who was given this charge before the state assembly elections in October last year. The BJP lost to the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha in the elections.

The party’s decision to replace him within a year of Rai’s appointment underlines the party’s effort to reorganize the state unit and strengthen the organizational system in the eastern state.
