Bharti Toppo, a resident of village Magaji Shahpur in Kusami police station area of Balrampur district, used to work as a sales girl in Kripa Fules in Ring Road Chopdapara in Ambikapur. She was working with other employees on Thursday morning. Around twelve in the morning, a young man from a motorcycle reached the petrol pump. He erected his motorcycle close to the female employee. Before the female employee could understand anything, the young man tried to attack him with a knife kept with him.
Keep running to save lives
When the woman ran away from there, the accused took a knife and started running her in the petrol pump premises. The woman kept trying to escape but the accused stabbed her with a knife. The girl kept running after beingar the attack of a knife one after the other. Blood splashes kept falling throughout the campus. The young man named Santosh, who was intervening, was also attacked by a young man with a knife.
Meanwhile, a knife entered the young woman’s chest towards the back. The woman fell there. Even after this, the accused attacked him with a knife. The girl fainted due to about 40 stabs. By then there was a stir. Gurudev Singh, who operated the shop nearby, tried to catch the accused. The accused also tried to strangle him.
He also fired from the airgun. The accused also kept an iron rod with him. After the incident, the accused started running away from there via the street. When people tried to catch him, he started scaring them too. The contractor Arun Singh Kirana, who lives in Chopdapara, arrested the accused and arrested the accused.
Police officers were passing through the same route in a car. The contractor took the accused in the same car and took him to Gandhinagar police station. After this, the police reached the spot. The motorcycle, bags, glasses, slippers of the accused have been recovered at the scene. The woman was rushed to the nearby Mission Hospital, where she died.
Love affair became the reason for murder
Initial investigation has revealed that the accused Yogendra Packra, originally from Magaji Kusami, is a resident of Kusami. He was coming to the petrol pump for the last three-four days. He had a love affair with the girl. He carried out the incident due to a rift in the relationship. After getting caught, he was saying that she had explained a lot to the girl, but she was not ready to understand.
Two days ago, his mobile was also broken, even after that he continued to talk to another young man. He also said that the girl is no longer and her life was also ruined. In view of the circumstances of the scene, it is clear that the accused had reached the petrol pump with the intention of murder with complete preparation.
