Investigation intensifies in the case of Zubeen Garg

The Assam Police has registered a case of murder against his manager Siddharth Sharma in the case of singer Zubin Garg’s death in Singapore. Along with this, the name of Shyamakunu Mahanta, the organizer of the East India Festival, has also been included in it. The police arrested both of them on Wednesday. Zubine went to Singapore to join the North East India Festival (NEIF) organized by Garg Mahant. He died a day before.

So far 4 people have been arrested in the case of singer Zubeen’s death. Apart from this, many people are also being questioned. Earlier, Zubeen’s wife Saikia Garg had expressed suspicion on the manager. Since then, CID has been continuously taking action.

Singer Jubin MP Gupta, the head of the investigation team, said that a police team is ready to go to Singapore. We are investigating every aspect of Zubeen’s death. Since the whole accident took place in Singapore. Therefore, we interacted with the government there and sought permission to investigate. All the formalities about this have been completed.

CID pair murder section

The CID had initially filed a case against those arrested for the Code of Justice of India (BNS), Section 61 (2) (Criminal conspiracy), 105 (non -intentional homicide) of Section 61 (2) (BNS), 2023. However, later the section of murder has also been added in this case. The investigation team said about this, so far we can tell this much. Section 103 of BNS has been added and we are investigating the matter further.

Zubeen died on 19 September

Zubeen Garg was going to join the North East India Festival to be held in Singapore on 20 September. It was organized by Shyamakunu Mahanta. However, Zubeen died a day before this festival. Initially it was reported that he was due to diving. Whereas in the post -mortem report, the cause of death has been reported to be drowning. This is the reason why this case is being closely investigated. After the death of Zubine Garg, more than 60 FIRs were lodged across Assam, after which the matter has gained momentum.
