At 8 o’clock in the night, the city worship is done with worship at Handi Fod Bhairav ​​Temple near Garhkalaika Mata Temple.

City worship runs for 14 hours

This city worship done in Ujjain is completed in about 14 hours. At 7.30 in the morning, this puja starts by offering the liquor of Goddess Mahamaya and Mahalaya. This puja ends at around 7.30 pm while worshiping in 40 temples. Under the city worship, the goddess and Bhairav ​​are offered liquor in temples and a flag is offered in the temple of Hanuman temples. After worshiping in 40 different temples, the team of government officials and employees reaches Handi Fod Bhairav ​​Temple.

Here this puja ends and a pot filled with alcohol is broken. For this worship, the Excise Department gives 31 bottles of liquor on its behalf. In this puja, 40 types of things like vermilion, kunkum, abir, mehndi, bangle, coconut, gram, water chestnut, puri-buniya, milk, curd, perfume etc. are used.
