Yunus is increasing protest worldwide

Geneva is not the first city where people associated with Awami League have demonstrated against Younus. On September 27, there were demonstrations in New York against Younis who came to participate in UNGA.

Bangladeshi migrants outside the United Nations Headquarters in New York raised slogans and showers against Mohammad Yunus, the chief advisor of the interim government of Bangladesh. The protesters were mostly supporters of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. In these demonstrations, Younus has been accused that since he came to power, there has been an increase in atrocities on minorities in the country.

Protests against Younus on Prime Minister Modi’s visit

India is a country that is raising voice against the violence in Bangladesh from the beginning. During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to America in February, Bangladeshi migrants protested outside the Blar House in Washington. These protesters allegedly demanded Yunus’s resignation.
