Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Team India through social media platforms on the historic victory in the Asia Cup. This post of PM Modi has gone viral on social media. A few minutes after Team India won the 9th time, PM Modi congratulated the social media platform X.

PM Modi wrote in the X post, “Operation vermilion on the playground, the result the same- congratulations to our cricketers!” In the title match played on Sunday, the Pakistani team was reduced to just 146 runs in 19.1 overs. Sahibzada Farhan scored the highest 57 runs for Pakistan, while Fakhar Zaman scored 46 runs. For India, Kuldeep Yadav took 4 wickets, while Jaspreet Bumrah, Varun Chakraborty and Akshar Patel hunted 2-2.
In response, Team India won the 19.4 overs. For Team India, Tilak Verma scored an unbeaten 69 in 53 balls, while Shivam Dubey added 33 runs to the team’s account.

Controversy was also seen after India’s victory at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. After winning the title, the Indian team refused to take the trophy from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mohsin Naqvi.
