According to the provision of Section-6 of Chhattisgarh Panchayat Raj Act 1993 and the instructions of the Government Panchayat and Rural Development Department, the gram sabha will be organized on 02 October 2025 in all the gram panchayats and their dependent villages of Manendragarh-Charamiri-Bharatpur district. In addition to the scheduled dates on 23 January, 14 April, August 20 and 02 October, gram sabhas are held every year in June and November. District Panchayat CEO Smt. Ankita Som Sharma informed during the time limit meeting that instructions have been given to paste posters at each Gram Sabha place to ensure the publicity of Gram Sabhas to be held on October 02.

He informed that in the Gram Sabha proceedings, many topics including income review of the panchayat, progress of schemes, status of MNREGA works, social audit, food distribution, birth-death and marriage registration, prevention of seasonal diseases, panchayat tax fixation, control of accidents from stray cattle and panchayat advanced index (PAI) score will be discussed. Along with this, HIV/AIDS awareness, Agristack Portal Registration for Paddy Protection, Child Marriage Free Chhattisgarh Abhiyan, National Nutrition Month 2025 and International Cooperative Year have also been included in the agenda.

Also, Panchayat Unnati Index (PAI) 1.0 will also be shared to improve the results of transparency, accountability and participation scheme to improve the results.

Other departmental agenda will discuss the reasons for HIV, rescue measures and information about HIV/AIDS Act 2017, encouraging pregnant women for HIV and syphilis check.
