A six -day entrepreneurship development program is being organized in a private hotel in the city in collaboration with Bastar Craft Handicrafts Producer Company Limited under the aegis of Commissioner Handicrafts and Textiles, Government of India. The purpose of this program is to take strong steps towards connecting artisans and entrepreneurs of Bastar with modern business techniques and to make them self -reliant.
On this occasion, digital marketing expert Rahul Kumar Pandey taught the artisans not only nationally but also to bring his crafts and products to the international level. She explained in examples and inspiring ways how digital marketing can make any traditional business “local to global”. He told that the art and craft of Bastar is not only a tradition, but also the identity of India. If our artisans use digital means properly, their skills can reach every corner of the world. My resolve is that every artisan here take digital wings and take their business to new heights.
Artisans and participants described this training as extremely inspiring and useful. He said that only such instructors can actually give new direction to the artisans of Bastar and such programs will prove to be revolutionary changes in their life and business. This program is not only encouraging local art and craft, but is also an important initiative towards realizing the resolve of “self -sufficient India”.
