On the one hand, where the Indian team’s brilliant game was discussed, on the other hand Pakistani players green in the headlines due to their antics. Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf made a 6–0 inflammatory gesture. Rauf’s gesture was to Pakistan’s claim that he dropped six jets of India during Operation Sindoor after the Pahalgam terror attack. Captain Suryakumar has reacted to the antics of Pakistani players after winning the finals and showed him a mirror.

Actually, Surya was asked during an interview on NDTV, “Pakistani players are shouting 6-0, making inflammatory gestures. In the final, two Indian players were accepted. When trying to incite this way, whether you are in front of your players or behind, how do you control your players?” The Indian captain said in response, “I think there should be a difference between the two teams. We never made any gesture, no hand movement. We wanted to play the game with dignity. We had to give a good statement by playing great cricket. The result can go in favor of any team. But when you return to the room, you should be happy with your effort and your game. Large opportunities but keep the emotion a little on the side and focus on the game.

Surya also appreciated the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for standing in front of the team in the Asia Cup. He said, “This is a big board, so many players, such a big country. The BCCI stood in front of us, gave us full support. Therefore, it is the duty of the players to play good cricket and win the trophy.” Let us know that the BCCI has announced a prize of Rs 21 crore to the Asia Cup winning Indian team and the associate staff on unbeatable performance in the tournament. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia said, “It was an extraordinary victory and hence the BCCI has announced a cash prize of Rs 21 crore for players and support staff, who were part of the Indian team in the Asia Cup.”
