20 year old pond rejuvenation
In the Gram Panchayat teenager, the nearly 20 -year -old pond had become unusable due to prolonged neglect. In the financial year 2022- 23, it was revived under Mission Amrit Sarovar on the proposal of Panchayat. At a cost of about 10 lakh rupees, the pond was increased by increasing its waterlogging capacity to 10 thousand cubic meters.

Water reached 18 acres of fields
Nearby farmers are getting direct benefits from the revival of the pond. Farmers Manoj Raxel and Arvind Singh’s three acres, while more than two acres of land of Surendra, Laxman, Virendra and Anand are now being irrigated. Apart from this, about one and a half acres of Jagbali Yadav’s land is also being watered from this lake. Farmers said that now they have started taking rabi crops along with kharif, which has improved their income.

Women’s earnings 75 thousand rupees
The Gram Panchayat has made Amrit Sarovar available to the local women self-help group as a livelihood promotion. Women, members of Jai Maa Mahila Self-Help Group, made a profit by selling fish worth Rs 75 thousand in the last summer from this pond. The chairman of the group, Mrs. Sonakunwar and Secretary Mrs. Jerabai, said that this year, fish production of about three lakh rupees is expected. This initiative is becoming a means of additional income for women and a means of nurturing.

Amrit Sarovar became a symbol of happiness
