Various literary and creative programs are being organized on the occasion of Hindi fortnight at Agricultural College, Raipur under Indira Gandhi Agricultural University. In this episode, a successful competition of painting and debate competition was organized in collaboration with the teachers of the college as per the instructions of the Rajbhasha Hindi Cell. This program was Dr. Aarti Guhe, the founder of the college, NEP Coordinator Dr. S. B. Verulkar, Placement Cell and NEP The charioteer was operated under the guidance of Ms. Anushka Chaurasia.
Under the program, a painting competition on the topic “Drug-free India” and a debate competition on the theme of “Role of Hindi in the construction of developed India 2047” was organized. 155 students of the college enthusiastically participated and introduced their creativity, expression skills and social consciousness.
In the painting competition, the participants tried to make the society aware by presenting a pithy message on drug addiction. At the same time, in the debate competition, the students clarified its importance in the hypothesis of India 2047, keeping a strong argument on the relevance of Hindi language and its role.
The active and energetic participation of the students was the main feature of the event. Under the Hindi fortnight, this event proved to be a commendable initiative towards encouraging social responsibility, national consciousness and dialogue skills among the students. The students selected in first, second and third place will be rewarded on the concluding day of Hindi Pakhwada held on 30 September 2025.
