The Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry has approved Rs 50 crore for opening the Adarsh Facilitation Center in urban bodies of Chhattisgarh. These centers will be started in all 14 municipal corporations and all 55 municipalities in the first phase. These facilities will work like an integrated center for obtaining various certificates and licenses to citizens and services like registration and grievance redressal. On the special initiative of Deputy CM of Chhattisgarh and Urban Administration and Development Minister Arun Saw, these centers are going to open in the state.
The Government of India has approved this amount for the Citizen Experience Center under the Municipal Sheird Services Center to open all types of services related to urban bodies. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has expressed his gratitude to the Central Government for approving the proposal of the State Government to establish an Adarsh Suvidha Kendra in urban bodies. He said that this initiative reflects our commitment to good governance, under which we are committed to provide transparent, time -bound and easy services to the citizens of the state. Every citizen of Chhattisgarh gets better facilities and standard of living, this is the goal of our government. The Adarsh Facilitation Center is an important step in this direction, which will make the urban administration more effective.
Efforts to provide better facilities to citizens
Deputy Chief Minister Saw said that according to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government of good governance of Chief Minister Vishnu Devasay is working by making a planned action plan to provide better facilities to the citizens of urban bodies. A proposal was sent by the Urban Administration Department under the Municipal Shered Services Center through the State Urban Development Agency to set up the Union Housing and Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs Center in the state. The Government of India has approved this proposal of Chhattisgarh and approved Rs 50 crore for this. These citizen experiences will serve as a one-stop hub for the Municipal Services related to the Urban Bodies. Mr. Saw has congratulated the citizens of the state by thanking the Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Shri Manohar Lal for approval to the proposal.
Work on the lines of single platform
The Deputy Chief Minister said that through the Adarsh Facilitation Centers, citizens will be received through the “One State – One Portal” “single platform like birth, death, marriage, business, vending, advertising, license services for advertising, property tax, water/sewerage, concrete waste services, registration for municipal property booking, registration of complaints, grievance redressal facilities and benefits of digital inclusion services will be received. He said that this center will simplify and standardize civil services as well as remove administrative obstacles, which will increase transparency and accountability between people and officers of urban bodies. Along with this, this initiative will promote inclusiveness across the state and will ensure improvement in is of living.
What is the ideal facility center?
Adarsh Suvidha Kendra will act like an integrated center for all services related to public facilities in urban bodies. Through this center, necessary documents and facilities will be provided to the citizens in urban bodies. Also, other services and facilities related to other citizen facilities such as diagnosis-1100, Peacock Sangwari, Property and other services and urban administration will also be associated with the Adarsh Facilitation Center.
How will citizens get facilities?
To get services through the Adarsh Suvidha Kendra, citizens have to enter/submit/submit the application related to their intended services to the facility center. On the basis of the nature and virtue of the application received from the citizens, the urban body will be resolved within the stipulated time frame through the Adarsh Suvidha Kendra. This entire process will be related to the online system and its monitoring will be done through the State Level Command and Control Center established in the State Urban Development Agency.
