Patrushev said that Russia will continue to work with India in every field and will try its best to further strengthen the relationship between the two countries. America has also imposed 25% additional tariffs on India for purchasing Russian oil. However, India has carried forward its historical and strategic relations with Russia with balance.
The trade between Russia and India in 2024 reached $ 70.6 billion, which is 9.2% higher than in 2023. India’s import from Russia was $ 67.15 billion. This trade was just $ 10 billion before Kovid-19. The largest trading level has been considered to be the largest ever between the two countries.
