In Shubham “Ke Mart” located in Sarona in the capital Raipur, people buying everyday goods were filled with pleasant surprises when they saw that they are getting the benefit of GST savings or not, they have reached the head of the state to see it.

In fact, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai reached “Shubham Ke Mart” to meet public sentiments regarding GST savings festival. He himself shopped for Rs 1,645 household goods and also paid from UPI. During this, he interacted with the shopping people and inquired about the difference in the price of household goods from the cut in GST rates.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai bought goods in Mart and took advantage of the reduction in GST rates. During this time, he came to know about the health of people with affinity. He inquired about the impact on the domestic budget from the shopping housewives, questioned the youth and senior citizens about their routine. Meanwhile, he spoke to other customers while buying everyday goods. Seeing this intimate behavior of the Chief Minister, the people present got angry and said that the head of the state is included as a common man among us today.

During this, he discussed the views on GST reforms while discussing with the buyers. People said that they have got a big relief due to decrease in the price of medicines and ration. The Chief Minister smiled and said – “This is the real purpose that the echo of reform should reach the general public.” After this, he himself bought goods and looked at the new prices and said – “This improvement is not only on paper, but a change in every family’s life.”

Chief Minister Shri Sai also urged everyone to support Swadeshi’s campaign, on which people said – “You go ahead, we are with you.”

Not GST deduction, this is “savings revolution”

While discussing with the Chief Minister, retired Air Force Officer Mr. TP Singh, who is shopping, said that when the history of this era will be written in the coming time, the GST reform led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will be recorded as a historic budget revolution. He said- “Earlier we used to take 30 days of ration in the amount of money, now we are able to take ration of more than 40 days with the same money. Our Prime Minister could take such a big adventure decision, no one else could do so.”

Tax was 12 percent in stationery, now zero is done

Mr. Laddaram Nainwani, a resident of Avanti Vihar in the capital Raipur, said that the positive effect of GST reform is also related to education. Showing the notebook to the Chief Minister in Shubham “Ke Mart”, he said – “Earlier it was taxed at 12 percent, but now Prime Minister Modi has made it zero. This historic step has made copies and necessary stationery cheaper. Our Prime Minister can make such decisions only.”
He further said – “Earlier I used to take stationery of about Rs 2,000 annually for children and now it is saving about 240 rupees.”

Four important goods came to buy, bought 4 times more goods from GST exemption

Mr. Muralidhar, who arrived at Mart to shop, said in a conversation with the Chief Minister – “I had come to buy only 4 important goods today, but after seeing the decrease in GST rates, bought 4 times more items. Widespread improvement in GST has made everyday materials cheaper and we are getting direct benefits.”

Dewangan couple told that 10 percent decrease in monthly budget

The couple, residents of Changorabhata, who arrived to shop in Shubham “Ke Mart”, said – “Our monthly budget has decreased by 10 percent.” Housewife Mrs. Padma, looking at the new price tag, said – “Earlier I used to buy the same detergent and spices at a higher price. Now after the rate cuts, it is really happy to see the low price. There is a lot of savings in festive shopping.”

Got opportunity to buy more than budget

Mrs. Savita Maurya and Mrs. Anita came to buy makeup for the female banquet to be held in Navratri. He said- “The prices of makeup material have already reduced. GST rate cuts have given us an opportunity to purchase more than the prescribed budget. For the first time, it seems that the festive cell is not only advertising, but really relief.”

It is noteworthy that after the historical reforms in GST rates, the markets have increased and people are constantly shopping. In the festive season under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, people have received a large gift of GST rate cuts and it has made everyday use items cheaper.
