Two children lost their lives in accident
Durga Puja is being celebrated with great pomp across the country at this time. Durga pandals have been prepared everywhere. Meanwhile, a painful Hodsa took place in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Here Pooja was running a current in the lights installed. During this time, two children passing by were hit by current. Due to which he died on the spot. The deceased have been identified as 8 -year -old Ayush Jharia and 10 -year -old Ved Srivas. The incident took place at the time of Budh Budh time when both the children were going to the pandal to attend the Aarti.
The incident is from Bargi Hills of Tilwara police station area of Jabalpur. It is being told that outside the pandal, the current was running in the pillar of the electric warehouses installed by the committee, which both the children fell and they died on the spot as soon as they got into the grip. Both the children were rushed to the medical hospital, where doctors declared both of them dead after investigation.
Demand for action against the culprits
There is an atmosphere of mourning in the entire area after the incident. The families of the deceased are in a weeping condition. Vipin Shriwas, father of the deceased Ved Srivas, said that this accident is the result of the negligence of the committee and the electricity department.
He told that his son was his only support, which was taken away by the negligence of this committee and the electricity department. The father demanded strict action against the culprits and warned that if justice is not found, they will agitate.
What in the investigation?
After investigation in the case, City Chief Engineer CB Arora clarified that the committee was allowed for the power of the pandal. Permission for the welt and lights installed outside was not taken. The permission of the electricity department was limited only to inside the pandal. The light outside was completely illegal. Initial investigation has found negligence of the committee and light contractor.
The accident took place two days ago
According to the police, this is not the first accident when this incident happened. CSP Ashish Jain said that two days before this, a 20 -year -old youth died due to current in another Durga pandal in Sharda Chowk. That is, three people have lost their lives due to negligence in the pandals within just two days.
Financial assistance to family
Seeing the seriousness of the case, SDM Anurag Singh, Electricity Department and Administration teams reached the spot and started investigating. Giving immediate relief, the administration has announced financial assistance of two lakh rupees to the families of both the children.
Public Works Minister expressed mourning
Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh has expressed deep condolences on this painful accident. Describing it as a heartbreaking incident, he said that strict action will be taken against the culprits. Minister Singh, after talking to Collector Raghavendra Singh, immediately instructed to sanction an additional assistance of two lakh rupees from the Red Cross for the victim families. He also announced that a special team will be formed to investigate this entire matter. So that the culprits can be punished and there is no such incidents in the future
