Dr. Salim Raj, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Bakf Board, has ordered the youth of Muslim society not to attend Garba programs. Dr. Salim said that he appealed to the Muslim youth to maintain distance from such sacred religious events. Maintain peace, brotherhood and harmony in Chhattisgarh.
There is a demand to prohibit non -Hindu entry into the religious program Garba towards Sarva Hindu society. Keeping in mind the demand of Hindu society, the Chhattisgarh Waqf Board issued an order on Tuesday. Dr. Salim Raj, Chairman of Waqf Board said that Navratri is a sacred festival of Hindu society. In which crores of devotees participate in Garba and other religious programs with the worship of Jagat Janani Maa Durga.
Dr. Salim said that Garba is not a simple dance program. It is a devotional folk dance performed for the worship of Goddess Durga, which is a symbol of the cycle of life and the immense power of the goddess. If a Muslim society does not believe in idol worship, then they should stay away from religious events like Garba.
Explain that apart from the state, there is a dispute about the entry of non -Hindus in Garba sites across the country. Apart from all the Hindu society Sanatanis, they do not want to enter Garba. Garba is a festival of worship of Mother Durga for followers of Sanatan Dharma.
Garba can be done with permission
Dr. Salim Raj said that if any Muslim siblings want to participate with permission from the committee, respecting the costumes and tradition, then no one will object to it. But with the wrong intentions, the attempt to enter the garba sites and make a disturbance hurts the sentiments of Hindu society, which can hurt social harmony.
