Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is on a two -day visit to Morocco. During the visit to Morocco, Rajnath Singh talked about 50 percent tariffs imposed by the US. Rajnath Singh reached Kaslanca on the previous day. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh interacted with the people of the Indian community during this period. In this conversation, he also talked about 50 percent tariffs imposed by the US, attack in Pahalgam and Operation Sindoor.
Rajnath Singh also talked about Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor on this occasion. He made it clear that it is our job to improve Pakistan. Regarding Operation Sindoor, he said, after the operation, Pakistan said that we want a ceasefire. We want a good relationship with neighboring countries. Friends can be replaced but neighbors are not changed. It is our responsibility to bring the neighbor on the right path. Regarding Pakistan, he said, we are also bringing it on the right path. The Defense Minister made it clear that Operation Sindoor has been postponed but it will be resumed if needed.

Why is the tour important
This tour is happening at a time when India and Morocco are strengthening their defense relations. Morocco is emerging as a launchpad for India’s goal of increasing defense exports in Africa. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate the Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) plant at Berrasid, Casalanca. The plant has been set up in partnership with the Royal Armed Forces of Morocco.
During this visit to the North African country, Rajnath Singh will hold a bilateral meeting with Moroccan’s National Defense Minister Representative Abdellattif Ludi to promote defense, strategic and industrial cooperation. Indian Defense Minister Moroccan will also meet Industries and Trade Minister Riyadh Mejjore. Due to which the trade between the two will also be strengthened.
