The boy sat hiding in the rear wheel (wheel well) of the aircraft in a flight coming from Kabul to India and reached Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi after a 94 -minute journey. The incident took place on Sunday in Afghanistan’s airline KAM Air flight number RQ4401.
Airbus A340 flight left Kabul at 8:46 am and reached Delhi at around 10:20 pm. Boy wanted to go to Iran
Investigation revealed that this boy is from Afghanistan. He wanted to go to Iran, but accidentally climbed into a flight coming to India. He told that he went inside the airport behind the passengers’ car and then hid in the wheel well of the aircraft. Security experts say that traveling in this way is very dangerous to travel in the aircraft. Due to lack of oxygen, a person may faint in a few minutes or may die. The amount of oxygen above 10 thousand feet is very low.
How did the boy survive
According to Aviation Experts, the wheel goes inside the aircraft while flying and then the door is closed. It may be that this boy is hiding in this closed place. Due to the pressure and temperature being normal here, he survived alive. The temperature usually ranges from -40 to -60 ° C at an altitude of 30 thousand feet.
According to the data, in this way only 1 out of 5 of those traveling hiding in wheel well are survived alive. The remaining dies due to hypoxia (lack of oxygen), hypothermia (body temperature fall), or falling during landing.
Another such incident in India
It is believed that this is the second such incident in India. Earlier in 1996, two brothers named Pradeep and Vijay Saini traveled in a flight from Delhi to London. He was 22 and 19 years old. Pradeep died.
