A sensational case has come to light in the capital Raipur on Sunday morning. Many trolley bags have been found in unclaimed condition on the expressway going to Swami Vivekananda Airport. The case is of the police station area. Initial apprehension is being expressed that these bags may have been used in smuggling of ganja or other intoxication, while the supply of cash is also feared to have a connection. The police is also investigating whether the bags were thrown for the purpose of eradicating evidence after any incident.
The special thing is that there is no CCTV camera around where the bags have been thrown. In such a situation, the police are finding it difficult to identify the accused. However, the police is trying to investigate the footage of vehicles passing through the expressway.
Significantly, a day earlier, 6 crore rupees cash was recovered in the fort. These continuous incidents have increased the vigilance of the police.
