Constable arrested accused firing on senior
Madhya Pradesh News: Panic spread due to firing at the police training center in Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh. In fact, the duty of the constable was overshadowed by a chief constable when an angry constable fired on him fired on him. Late night trainee constable Kamal Singh Marawi was on guard duty in PTS i.e. Police Training School Umaria. It is alleged that he was intoxicated during duty. When the guard commander Chhotalal Cole objected to this, the controversy increased and Kamal Singh fired from the rifle. Thankfully, he did not get the bullet. After which other police personnel present on the spot caught the accused constable. After receiving information about the incident, senior top police officers reached the spot and started investigation. A crime has been registered against the accused and arrested and produced in the court.
Giving information, SDOP Umaria Dr. Nagendra Pratap Singh said that on Thursday night, guard commanders were imposing duty of Chhotalal coal soldiers. Meanwhile, constable Kamal Singh Marawi was on guard duty. It is alleged that Kamal Singh was drunk at the time of duty. When the guard commander objected to this and asked him to follow the discipline, the constable Kamal Singh was enraged and started to dispute. Trainee constable Kamal Singh Marawi, angry at being imposed on duty, fired on the guard commander with a rifle. Thankfully, no one was hurt in this firing, but this incident stirred the entire training center.
Case filed against accused
SDOP Dr. Nagendra Pratap Singh said that discipline is paramount in the police department. The act like drinking alcohol and attacking a senior officer will not be tolerated. This type of conduct not only tarnishes the image of the police but also has a wrong impact on other constables receiving training. After the incident, accused constable Kamal Singh Marawi was arrested and brought to the police station Kotwali. A case has been registered against him in different sections. The police produced the accused in the court and further legal action is being taken.
