Can not move forward with eyes closed… Mohan Bhagwat said amid US trade-visa tension

Mohan Bhagwat

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said about the ongoing tension between India and America about tariffs and H-1B visa rules that India should do whatever is necessary to deal with the current problems. But at the same time, to avoid such problems in future, he will have to start making his own way by walking on the eternal view.

Addressing a book release ceremony in Delhi on Sunday (September 21), Bhagwat said that the problem that India and other countries are facing today are the result of a fragmented approach to development adopted for the last 2000 years. He said that in this view, the feeling of ‘I’ and the rest of the world or ‘we’ and ‘they’ is strong. He said, ‘We cannot turn our face with this situation. We have to do whatever is necessary to get out of it. But we cannot move forward blindly ‘.

‘We have to make our own way’

Bhagwat further said, so we have to make our own way. We will find some way out. But essentially, at some point in future, we will have to face all these things again. Because in this fragmented approach there is me on one side and the rest of the world on the other, or we and they. Referring to the four goals of life, he said that India should follow his centuries -old perspectives of four goals of life – Artha (Dhan), Kama (Desire and Anand) and Moksha (Mukti), which is bound by religion and ensures that no one is left behind.

‘Everyone has different interests’

Recalling his meeting with a US person three years ago, Bhagwat said without naming the man that he spoke on the possibilities of cooperation in various sectors including the Indo-US partnership and security, opposition to the economy as well as the economy, but each time he reiterated the same, provided the American interests were protected. Bhagwat said that everyone has different interests, so the struggle will continue. Then only the national interest does not matter. I also have interest. I want to keep everything in my hand.

‘So we keep fighting continuously from 1947 till today…’

He also said that Rat is the only country that has played all its commitments on environmental issues. He said that if we had to fight in every conflict, then we would have been fighting continuously from 1947 till today. But we tolerated all this. We did not let the war happen. We also helped those people who opposed our policies. He said that if India wants to become a world guru and Vishwamitra, then it will have to make its own way on the basis of his attitude.

He said that if we have to manage it, then we have to think from our point of view. The attitude of our country is traditional, but it is not old, it is ‘Sanatan’. Bhagwat also emphasized that India’s approach not only leaves ‘Earth’ and ‘Kama’, but these two are essential aspects of life, provided that they are associated with religion.
