Now police poster war against Maoists, posters put up in every village, help from people

Khanjur/ Kanker
In Kanker district, the police have declared a reward on them by putting banners of wanted Maoists in internal villages. The police on Wednesday launched a unique initiative in the interiors and Maoist affected areas of the Paralkot region. The police have put up posters and banners of the wanted Maoists in the villages and forests here, so that these Maoists can be caught with the help of the local people. The move is considered a new turn in the fight against Maoism.

These posters provide information about the pictures of the desired Maoists, their names and the reward declared on them. Also, the police have appealed to the people to inform the police immediately if they get any information about these Maoists. The identity of the informer will be kept secret. Often, locals know a lot about Maoists, but they do not tell the police because of fear.

These posters will not only give them information, but they will also realize that with their help these criminals can be caught. The main objective of this initiative is to weaken the Maoists in their own stronghold. When the local population turns against them and starts giving information about them, it will be difficult for them to hide and carry out their activities.

Police expect success

This is not the first time the police have adopted such a strategy, but this time it has been implemented in a more large and systematic manner. The police hope that this initiative will give them great success in catching the wanted Maoists and will help in restoring peace in the area. It remains to be seen how effective this initiative proves, but it is clear that the police is adopting new and creative methods in the fight against Maoism.

Names of Maoists worth five lakhs in posters

The police have declared a reward of one lakh on Maoist Basanti Aanchal, Pushpa Hemla, Rama Kunjam, Shravan Markar, Vishwanath, Ramko Mandavi, Rani alias Uma, Janaki Sori in a banner. In addition, the names and rewards of different Maoists have also been mentioned at other places.
