Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today attended the blood donation Amritotsav 2.0 program organized at the auditorium of Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University in the capital Raipur. He said that education is mandatory to move forward in any field. Education is not only a means of getting a degree or job, but the basic basis of success in every field of life.
On this occasion, the service fortnight was launched by the National Service Scheme State Cell, Higher Education Department and Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University. In this campaign, which runs from 17 September to 2 October, various activities including blood donation will be organized in colleges across the state.
Chief Minister Shri Sai met the youth donating blood and greeted him. He said that blood donation is not only the medium of life protection, but also beneficial for the health of the blood donor. This is the biggest donation, which can be done repeatedly.
Addressing the students, the Chief Minister said that the government is continuously working in the field of education and the students should take full advantage of the available facilities. He said that Chhattisgarh is rich in many areas including minerals and forest wealth. ‘Chhattisgarh Sabale Great’ is identified all over the country. Obstacles like Naxalism are being eliminated with the courage and continuous campaigns of the security forces. Soon the Ganges of development will flow in Bastar and a developed Chhattisgarh will be constructed.
Higher Education Minister Shri Tankaram Verma said that the government is committed to ensure the bright future of the youth. Approval has been given to recruit 700 posts in Higher Education Department. He described the NSS as a strong idea connecting the society.
Skill Development Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb said that there is a sense of service in Indian culture and blood donation is the biggest donation. The government aims to provide all -round development of their personality by providing education and employment to the youth.
MP Shri Brijmohan Agrawal said that service is the essence of life. Blood donation or education – through any means makes service life famous.
Commissioner Higher Education Shri Santosh Dewangan, Vice Chancellor Dr. Sachchidanand Shukla, State NSS Officer Dr. Neeta Bajpayee, Registrar Prof. A large number of NSS volunteer students including Amber Vyas were present.
