Cleanliness Super League tool-Cat released, sworn in cleanliness

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai joined the cleanliness, housing and public welfare festival of the Urban Administration and Development Department today. He launched the state level of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ and ‘Angikar-2025’ campaign and Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana 2.0 and Public Welfare Fair in the program organized at Shri Atal Bihari Bajpai Auditorium of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College in the capital Raipur. He also provided home entry to 11 thousand beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) in various urban bodies. Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Administration and Development Minister Arun Saw, MP Brijmohan Agrawal, MLAs Rajesh Munat and Sunil Soni and Raipur Municipal Corporation Mayor Meenal Choubey also attended the program.
Chief Minister Sai and other guests released the tool-cut of state level cleanliness super league in the program. He distributed checks to the beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0 to the building’s building license and the beneficiaries of PM self -benefit. He also gave compassionate appointment letters to the families of the late workers of Raipur Municipal Corporation. The Chief Minister also administered the oath of cleanliness to all the people present in the program. He flagged off the door-to-door garbage collection vehicles dedicated to cleanliness in Raipur Municipal Corporation and other urban bodies.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai congratulated Vishwakarma Jayanti and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday in the program and said that Prime Minister Modi has done a big job in making the country aware of cleanliness and health. Cleanliness is now in the habit of people. He said that cleanliness is not only the responsibility of women inside and outside the house, but it is also the job of men. He thanked the Prime Minister for taking cleanliness to this point in the country.
The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh has received seven National Awards in Swachh Survekshan-2024-25. The 100 cleanest cities in the country with less than twenty thousand population include 58 cities of Chhattisgarh alone. He thanked the cleanliness Didis, cleaning workers and citizens working in urban bodies for this achievement and asked to further improve the ranking. He said that we are working to create our Vision Document-2047 to create developed Chhattisgarh and developed India.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw said in his address that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worried about one person of the country in the last 11 years. Walking on the goal of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’, they are working to advance the country. He said that in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0, work is being done to deliver housing to every eligible family under the ‘Angikar-2025’ campaign. For this, this special campaign is conducted from 4 September to 31 October. The Government of India has brought the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana 2.0 for the street vendors and for their welfare. It is being implemented in the entire state from today. He said that cleanliness will be made a mass movement by connecting every person with the cleanliness service campaign starting today. Saw said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, we are working to make all the cities of the state clean, beautiful and convenient. Every city is increasing facilities for citizens.
Dr. Basavraju S., Secretary, Urban Administration Department In his welcome address at the program, informed about the campaigns and schemes starting today. He informed that the cleanliness fortnight starting today is being celebrated as ‘Swachhotsav’ this time. During the fortnight, a campaign of cleanliness will be launched by identifying black-spots of dirt in all urban bodies. Director of Urban Administration and Development Department R.K. Ekka, Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vishwadeep and State Urban Development Agency (SUDA) CEO Shashank Pandey and senior officials of Urban Administration and Suda, MIC members of Raipur Municipal Corporation, MIC members, councilors and beneficiaries of various schemes were present in large numbers.
