On Monday evening, a truck ran for two kilometers from Kalani Nagar to Bada Ganpati intersection. In just 10 minutes, the truck driver trampled more than 15 people, killing two people.

The truck driver got intoxicated and broke into the city, breaking the no entry from the airport. The VIP Road where the entry of heavy vehicles is banned till 11 pm, at seven thirty in the evening, he ordered death at seven thirty in the evening.

Increased speed to avoid police

When the policemen stationed at Kalani Nagar intersection stopped the truck, the driver increased the speed to escape. On seeing this, the truck became uncontrollable and trampled many people from the teacher city to Ganpati intersection. It also included a two -year -old innocent constable and 50 -year -old Laxmikant Soni, a resident of Aerodrum area.

More than 20 vehicles hit

For one and a half kilometers, the truck hit about 20 vehicles including cars, two-wheelers, e-rickshaws and auto rickshaws. A bike was stuck in the wheels of the truck for about 600 meters. The truck also caught fire due to sparking in the vehicle at Bada Ganpati intersection. The scene of the accident was so frightening that the soul of anyone who saw it trembled.

People ran to help the injured

After the incident, the people present near the road ran for help after seeing the injured. The news spread like fire and hundreds of people reached the spot. Amidst the chaos, it became difficult for the police to control the mob. Six injured were referred to Gitanjali Hospital, six to Banthia Hospital and two serious injured to Arvindo Hospital.

Long jam took place for three hours

After the accident, there was a long traffic jam at Ramchandra Nagar, Bada Ganpati Square and Kalani Nagar intersection. On sixty feet road, there were queues of vehicles and people took one and a half to two hours to cross the path.

Ministers and officials arrived to know the condition of the injured

On receiving the information of the accident, Police Commissioner Santosh Singh, Divisional Commissioner Sudam Khade, Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, Mayor Pushyapamitra Bhargava and other public representatives reached the spot and came to know the condition of the injured.
