After a long holiday, on Monday, the corporator Harendra Narayan reviewed all the departments as soon as he reached the Municipal Corporation office. During this, he took a strict class of officers who were negligent about the pending complaints of the CM Helpline.
Especially on the status of smart light and building license departments, the corporator’s anger erupted. In the review meeting, the first smart city engineer Rajiv Agnihotri was targeted. They are responsible for the maintenance of smart lights in the city.
In fact, 358 complaints related to smart light were found in the Mayor Helpline Review held on 9 September. Expressing displeasure over this, the corporator gave a clear warning that negligence will not be tolerated.
Complaints still pending
Similarly, the situation in the building license department was also found serious. Recently, a total of 73 complaints were filed in this department. Zones 10, 12, 17 and 18 to 26 complaints and Zones 4, 6, 13 and 16 to 23 complaints are still pending.
The corporator ordered that the officers of the departments whose complaints are pending, should be summoned to the corporation office at Mata temple and the complaints should be settled on the spot.
He clearly said that any officer will find it expensive in solving the problems of the public. Also warned that if the complaints are not resolved on time, strict action will be taken.
