Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a rally in Purnia district of the election state Bihar on Monday and will launch development projects worth Rs 36,000 crore. He will also inaugurate the terminal of a newly constructed airport in this city of North Bihar, which will fulfill the long -standing demand for air connectivity in the region.

Another major attraction of the Prime Minister’s visit is the inauguration of the National Makhana Board. The establishment of this board was announced in the Union Budget earlier this year. About 90 percent of the production of Makhana or Indian Makhana in the country is in Bihar, which the Prime Minister has described as super food in many of his speeches.

Makhana and Bihar have deep connections

In a post on X, PM Modi said that Makhana and Bihar have a very deep connection. From Purnia, the National Makhana Board will be launched. Many farmers associated with this area will benefit from this. BJP -led NDA, which is expecting to maintain power in the state, believes that the Prime Minister is giving priority to Bihar.

Inauguration of Purnia Airport

Actually PM Modi is reaching Purnia today. Here he will inaugurate Purnia Airport built at a cost of about 46 crores under Porta cabin. Along with this, people of Kosi-Semaanchal and nearby districts including Purnia will get the benefit of air service. After the airport inauguration, PM Modi will also address a large public meeting at SSB Camp at Shishabari near Gulabbagh Zero Mile and laying the foundation stone and inauguration of various local schemes worth 45 thousand crores along with important railway projects of 6580 crore.

Vande will show the green signal to Bharat Express train

PM Modi will also flag Jogbani-Patna Vande Bharat Express train. He will land from the IAF BBJ aircraft at Purnia Airport at 2.20 pm today and will inaugurate the terminal building there. After this, they will land on the helipad in Sikander Pur at 3.15 am by helicopter. There will be the foundation stone and inauguration and gathering of the schemes by 4.45 pm. PM Modi will again come to the airport by helicopter from here, from where the plane will fly to Delhi at 5.20 am.

Development of development projects

In his 11 -year tenure, PM Modi has given a gift of development projects worth about Rs 1.50 lakh crore to Bihar. Today there will be another gift. The state is taking advantage of the government with double engine, senior BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, who recently visited Purnia to take stock of the preparations for Prime Minister Modi’s visit.

Security tight about PM Modi’s visit

Elections are likely to be announced in the state in the next few weeks. Strict security arrangements have been made in Purnia for the Prime Minister’s visit, in which the movement of vehicles on national and state highways for 24 hours from Sunday midnight has been banned. Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav conducted a surprise inspection of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Purnia.
