Ganesh immersion procession climbed on a procession
A fierce road accident occurred during a procession of Ganesh Utsav on Thursday night in Mastlehosalli village of Hasan district of Karnataka. According to the information, this incident took place on Hasan-Mysore National Highway-373. The procession here was passing from one side and common traffic was going on from the other side. Suddenly a tanker lost control and crossed the divider and entered directly into the procession. The accident was so severe that eight people died on the spot. While more than 20 people have been seriously injured.
Police started investigation
The injured were immediately rushed to the hospital with the help of local people and police. There was an atmosphere of chaos on the occasion and there was a lot of resentment among the people. Giving information, administrative officials have said that the number of dead may increase. At present, arrangements are being made for better treatment to the injured. The police have registered a case and started investigation, and the tanker driver is being searched.

Meanwhile, suddenly the truck came from the front and went on trampling people. The accident was so severe that people did not get time to recover.
