Chief Minister Sai said- Along with entertainment, strong art which makes society aware also cartoon


Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai joined the Cartoon Festival-2025 in a private hotel in the capital Raipur today. Chief Minister Sai said that Power of Cartoons are not only entertainment, but also a mirror of society, which simply presents serious issues through humor and satire.

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that cartoon is an entertainment and awareness as well as the Art for Change and Cartoon Art. On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to noted cartoonist Manoj Chopra of Jammu and Kashmir. He himself made cartoons, encouraging cartoonists participating in the cartoon festival.

Addressing the Cartoon Watch Festival, Chief Minister Sai said that it is a matter of pride that the Cartoon Watch magazine has taken a successful journey of 29 years and is now entering its 30th year. I wish the entire team of Cartoon Watch hearty congratulations and best wishes that they continue to do excellent work in this genre of cartoon.

Chief Minister Sai said that if the Cartoon Watch Festival is held in Bastar next year, it will be a matter of great joy. Peace is now being established in Bastar and soon this area will be completely Naxal -free. The government’s schemes are reaching the people of Bastar through Need Nella Nella Nella Yojana (which means – your good village). So far, all basic facilities like road, electricity, water and ration cards have been provided in more than 300 villages. Where the first gun sound resonated, now the school bell is ringing.

Chief Minister Sai said that 1 lakh 65 thousand people took part in the Bastar Olympics. Similarly, Bastar Pandum was organized for the cultural identity of Bastar, in which 47 thousand people attended. This is proof that the people of Bastar are now connecting with the mainstream. Yesterday I attended the investor connect program in Bastar. Now along with large -scale investment in Bastar, local people will also get employment opportunities.

Chief Minister Sai said that we have prepared a vision document as a roadmap of developed Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh is investing in many areas including semiconductor, artificial intelligence, data center and textiles. During the recent visit to Japan and Korea, we have done many MoUs with industries. The future of Chhattisgarh is very bright.

He said that cartoons are a very strong medium. Cartoon Watch teams also sent the government’s plans to the common man through cartoons. This attempt of cartoon watch provides a platform to cartoonists, which is helpful in further enhancing their creativity.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that the genre of the cartoon is a wonderful confluence of media and literature. This genre has the ability to fill the ocean in Gagar with melody. Whenever I read the newspaper myself, I must see the cartoon. Trimbak Sharma has made a significant contribution in keeping this genre of cartoon alive.

MLA Anuj Sharma said that Cartoon Watch is the only cartoon magazine in the country. The 30 -year -old visit reflects the spirit of its editor Trimbak Sharma. His journey is inspiring for all artists. He has proved from his work that success can be achieved by working with full dedication and loyalty in any field.
