Five thousand teachers will be recruited before the next education session. Also, gazetted officers will be recruited through Public Service Commission (PSC). On Friday, School Education Minister Gajendra Yadav held a meeting with the officials in the ministry and gave instructions.

He said that a concrete action plan should be prepared to strengthen the education system and ensure quality education. He instructed the Text Book Corporation to make the amount from the same tender from the printing of books to transport so that the amount would be saved over time.

Secretary Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi, Director Rituraj Raghuvanshi, Managing Director of Composite Education Sanjeev Kumar Jha were present in the meeting. The minister also said that the presence of teachers and district level officers should be compulsorily recorded at online and campus levels, so that transparency and accountability can be ensured.

Reviewing the progress of the textbook distribution, Minister Yadav said that it should be clarified how many places the book distribution is still and how much additional demand is left. He said that there should be clarity in departmental works and every work should be done through its responsible institution. All training programs will now be mandatory through SCERT.

In the meeting, information about the status of buildingless schools, the expenses required to develop them as full furnished schools and the amount of ad hoc schools were also discussed. Minister Shri Yadav said that the full use of the budget should be ensured and the amount should not be lapsed, an action plan should be prepared from now on.

Classes will start for NEET and JEE

In large cities, where government buildings are available, it was also considered to start classes in collaboration with prestigious coaching institutions to prepare for competitive examinations like NEET and JEE.

Emphasis was laid on a special campaign to join the schools again to the school. Yadav said that at the time of school entrance festival, action should be ensured by making advance action plan for the materials to be distributed to the students.

After the end of the examination of the schools, the district and block level training of teachers will be started. After training, the efficiency of teachers will be evaluated by taking the examination. A clear academic calendar will be prepared for this.
