Passenger vehicle sales fall
In August 2025, Tata Motors’ passenger vehicle (PV) sales were 43,315 units including domestic and international. In August 2024 last year, the figure was 44,486 units. That is, this time a decline of about 3% was seen.
- The sales of domestic passenger vehicles were 41,001 units, which is 7% less than the previous year.
- At the same time, there was a tremendous jump in export. The company sent out 2,314 units, which is a growth of 573%.

EVS record-breaking performance
The biggest achievement of Tata Motors was the sale of electric vehicles in August 2025.
- The company sold 8,540 electric vehicles.

- A total of 29,863 commercial vehicles were sold in August 2025.

The segment-wise performance of commercial vehicles was as follows
- HCV Trux – 7,451 units (5% increase)
- Ilmcv Trux – 5,711 units (15% increase)
- Passenger Carriers – 3,577 units (5% increase)
- SCV cargo and pickup – 10,742 units (4% increase)
- International Cv Business – 2,382 units (77% increase)
These figures show that the commercial vehicle segment of Tata Motors is constantly getting stronger and its demand is increasing rapidly in the international market, not only in the international market.
Heavy and mid -trucks of magnificent sales
The company had 14,667 units, including domestic and international sales of the company’s heavy and mid trucks. This figure indicates a significant increase compared to last year.
GST cut effect
