There was communal tension during the idol immersion on Friday in Ujjain of MP. According to the information, people of Hindu-Muslim community came face to face in the tehsil in Mahidpur, about 50 km from Ujjain district headquarters. During Ganesh immersion, two sides pelted stones when the tableau of Love Jihad was shown. The police used force to control the situation.
According to the information, on Friday, Durgeshwari Siddhivinayak became a ruckus while taking out the ride of Ganesh ji. It is being told that there was a dispute over showing love jihad tableau in the ride. Hundreds of people from the Muslim community gathered opposing the tableau. Then there was stone pelting on both sides.
Police reached the spot on the information and started chasing the gathering crowd. The police have used light force. It is being told that Ganesha’s ride leaves every year.
