India has declared a 15 -member team for the Asia Cup 2025. Suryakumar Yadav has been made captain and Shubman Gill has been made vice -captain. The current champion India has announced its 15 -member team for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025. The tournament will start from 9 September at the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This time the team will be commanded in the hands of Suryakumar Yadav, who will target India to get the title for the ninth consecutive time.
Bumrah’s return and new talent
Team India’s biggest strength will be the return of fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah. He will enter the white ball format after about 11 months. Bumrah last played in the 2024 T20 World Cup final, where he played a key role in winning the title to India with 15 wickets. At the same time, the selectors have expressed confidence in young players Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Verma and Rinku Singh.
Wicketkeeping responsibility
Sanju Samson is considered the first choice as a wicketkeeper in the team. Along with him, Jitesh Sharma also got a chance in the team after a year. The selectors believe that both players are capable of strengthening the batting order.

India will start its campaign against UAE on 10 September in Dubai. Thereafter, on September 14, the high -voltage match will be held with Pakistan. On September 19, India will face Oman. All matches will be played at 7:30 pm.
