A unique case of theft has come up in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. Here the thieves have stolen the pond. The matter has been revealed under RTI. Actually, the lake was constructed here at a cost of about 25 lakh rupees. Now the villagers are wandering in search of the lake. People have pleaded with the administration police to the Chief Minister but the lake was not found. Tired of losing, the villagers have announced a prize and prize. After the matter came to light, the District Collector has now issued orders to investigate.
The whole matter is of Chakghat in Rewa district, where many ponds in the area including Amrit Sarovar disappeared overnight. The villagers have pleaded from the collector to the Chief Minister, but the problem did not solve. The search for the lake is going on. Munadi is being done by playing drums in the village. RTI revealed
According to the information received under RTI, the Amrit Sarovar pond was constructed on August 09, 2023 with a cost of Rs 24.94 lakh. It has been constructed at a place called village Kathuli of Purva Maniram, which is recorded in land number 117 according to the revenue records. No lake pond has been constructed on the occasion.
Sarpanch played
The Gram Panchayat Sarpanch built a dam on the drain and collected water in its own private land in Number 122. As soon as the water was collected, the amount of Rs 24 lakh 94 thousand was scammed from there. On the complaint, Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat Rewa has instructed to recover the entire amount of Amrit Sarovar pond constructed from Gram Panchayat within a week.

Chief Executive Officer Zilla Panchayat Rewa, with the aim of misleading the government, Dherash Tiwari Sarpanch Purva Maniram tried to build a pond on a small part of his private land.
