Soha Ali Khan, Sharmila Tagore and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi

Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan made a career in Hindi cinema, walking on the path of her mother and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore. However, she could not achieve popularity and success like a mother. Soha acted in many films, but failed to recognize as the top actress. In a recent conversation, the actress has remembered her childhood days and told that her mother used to earn and her father lived at home.

While Soha Ali Khan’s mother Sharmila Tagore was the actress, her late father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was the captain of the Indian cricket team. He played several matches for India. However, despite being a cricketer many times, he used to sit at home. Then there used to be very little earning in cricket. But, then his wife Sharmila did not take a break from films despite marriage and continued to work.

It is generally seen whether the actresses distance from the film world after marriage or children, or take a break for some time. However, Sharmila Tagore did not do this. Soha said, “It is not that I had any kind of doubt. It was a normal thing and I believed that when we were younger, our father was at home and mother used to be at work sometimes, sometimes with us. But, my mother was the mother who runs the house.”

Mansoor used to take children while staying home

Even though Mansoor had to stay at home many times despite being a cricketer, he used to handle her children in the absence of Sharmila during this time and took care of her well. Sharmila had told in a conversation that when her son Saif Ali Khan was born, she disappeared from the son’s life for the first 6 years. That is, she could not give them enough time. According to the actress, she used to work in two shifts. But her husband used to stay in the house at that time and handle the house and family.
