Defense Minister Rajnath Singh attended a joint seminar of the three armies ‘Ran Dialogue 2025’ program at Army War College, Mhow, Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday (August 27). During this time, he gave his views in detail on the Indian tradition of military power, warfare and dialogue. He told how the war will be fought in the coming time. At the same time, he also said that India never invades first, but if it is challenged, it will be answered with full force. Singh insisted that national security is no longer a matter of army, but it has become an issue of the entire nation’s approach.
Top leadership of the three armies, defense experts, representatives of industry and international security experts were also present at the event. The Defense Minister addressed the Ran Dialogue 2025 highlighted India’s defense preparations and the challenges of the future war. He said that India does not want war against any country, but is ready to answer with full force for its safety.
‘War does not depend only on military power’
He said that modern war does not only depend on military power, but also plays technology, intelligence, economy and efficient diplomacy. He said that only with training, technological advancement and international cooperation, India can strengthen its defense capabilities and can compete with any challenge. He told the armed forces that they have to be ready to deal with all kinds of security challenges.
‘Preparation for war for five years will also have to be prepared’
According to Rajnath Singh, the armed forces will have to prepare for the war from short time struggle to five years, because the geopolitical atmosphere has been completely unpredictable. He said that India does not want anyone’s land, but it is ready to go to any extent to protect its regional integrity.
The Defense Minister has said in his address that the Indian Army should be ready for every situation. He said that in today’s era, war has become so sudden and unexpected that it is very difficult to guess when a war will end and how long it will last. Singh said that for this reason, if a war lasts for two months, four months, one year, two years, even five years, then we should be fully prepared for it.

During this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh appreciated the three armies for Operation Sindoor and said that this campaign has emerged as a great example of the success of India’s indigenous forums, equipment and arms systems. He said that the achievements of this campaign have once again underlined that self -reliance is a ultimate need in the coming time. He said that we have made significant progress on the path of self -sufficiency, but we still have to go a long way.
The Defense Minister said that the success of Operation Sindoor is an excellent example of the bravery and speed with which the Indian armed forces took action against terrorists in Pakistan.
