In this important proposal of the Urban Development and Housing Department in the cabinet meeting held in the ministry on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, financial approval was given for the consultation fee for making DPR for Shri Mahakaleshwar, Ujjain-Indore-Pithampur Metro Corridor.
Metro will be able to run only after Simhastha
The survey work has been given to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRCL) to run the metro till Ujjain-Pithampur. The survey work will be done to Simhastha but the metro will be able to run only after Simhastha. In the first phase of Ujjain-Indore-Pithampur line, Shri Mahakaleshwar Ujjain-Lavkush Chauraha Indore and Lavkush Chauraha Indore to Pithampur, Metro Rail Project are being made in the second phase.
DPR will be made at the rate of nine lakh rupees per km
The work of making DPR of metro in Maharashtra and Odisha has been given at 12 lakh per km, but in MP this work will be done at the rate of nine lakh rupees per km. The work of preparing the study report has been assigned to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited. The most experienced Delhi Metro in the country is the government company.
DPR work under process
Currently, the work of creating the DPR of the first part of the first phase is under process. On the first phase of the Ujjain-Indore-Pithampur line, GST will cost Rs 4.23 crore for DPR. In the second phase, Rs 3.51 crore and GST will be spent for DPR from Lavkush intersection, Indore to Pithampur.
