On the instructions of Chhindwara Superintendent of Police Nivedita Gupta, Chhindwara police launched a special campaign against cars and modified bullet motorcycles roaming the city. Under this action, a total of 29 cars were removed from the black film and 2 bullet motorcycles were extracted modified silencer.
Traffic Deputy Superintendent of Police Rameshwar Choubey said that a black film was often seen on the streets of the city and vehicles with number plates of other states were being seen. In view of this, the traffic police and the police of all the police stations of the district jointly conducted this campaign. The black film was removed from 29 cars and the cost of 14,500 was charged. The modified silencer of 2 bullet motorcycles was removed and a problem of 2,000 was charged.
Action taken on 85 vehicles
Action was also taken on 85 vehicles violating without helmets and other traffic rules, from which a fine of 38,100 was charged. In total, 116 vehicles were charged a total fee of 54,600 while taking action under various sections of the Motor Vehicle Act.
The person sitting in the car cannot be identified
In addition, 169 auto rickshaws (three wheelers) and their drivers were also intensively investigated under the special campaign. According to the police, the main objective of the ban on imposing black films on the glasses of cars is to curb crimes. Due to the black film, the person sitting inside the vehicle is not identified, which criminals often take advantage of any crime to carry out or escape. The Supreme Court has also directed to take strict action on such vehicles.
Superintendent of Police Chhindwara has appealed to the drivers to follow the traffic rules. He said that this police campaign will continue continuously, so people themselves remove the black film and bullet motorcycles from the heads of their cars to avoid action.
