The state government has allowed the State Economic Offenses Investigation Bureau (EOW) to investigate against Kistim Singh Rathore, former sectional officer of Kota, Bilaspur, Kota. The case is of scam in compensation distribution in the Arpa Bhansazhar project. Rathore is currently working as Additional Collector in Raipur Collectorate, although EOW officials have not confirmed this. He says that the order has not been received yet.
According to the order issued by the Ministry of General Administration Department, Mahanadi Bhavan Atalnagar, the decision was taken on the basis of the irregularities found in the preliminary investigation conducted by the State Economic Offenses Investigation Bureau-Anti Corruption Bureau. This action is being taken under Section 17 (a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act. According to the departmental letter, serious allegations were reported against Rathore, after which the ACB sought permission from the government to investigate.
According to the order, now ACB-EOW will conduct a detailed investigation against Kiestant Singh Rathore, an officer of the State Administrative Service, currently posted at Raipur Collectorate. In this case, this step of the government gives a message that no officer or employee will be spared in corruption cases and strict action will be taken against the culprits. Now further legal proceedings will be decided after the investigation is completed.

In Bilaspur’s Arpa Bhansajhar project, there was an irregularity of Rs 3 crore 42 lakh 17 thousand 920 by showing different areas of the same land survey number in compensation distribution. At that time, the then SDM of Kota Anand Roop Tiwari, Revenue Officer Kirteevad Singh Rathore and other officials were found guilty, but no action was taken against anyone. Rathore is currently Additional Collector in Raipur.
RI Mukesh Sahu has been dismissed after a re -investigation into the case. At the same time, the government was recommended for action against the guilty officers. On the matter was exposed, a committee headed by the then Collector of Bilaspur, Saurabh Kumar, investigated.
