Dial-112 service in Madhya Pradesh (East Dial-100 service)

The Dial-100, which started on 1 November 2015 in Madhya Pradesh, was India’s first centralized, state-wide police emergency response service. It set a new standard in public security by providing quick, technology-capable assistance in urban and rural areas. The system was operated from the state -of -the -art Central Command and Control Center in Bhopal. Citizens used to call toll-free number 100, where trained call-teckers used to identify the nearest available Dial-100 (FRV) through computer-assisted dispatch software immediately.

It consisted of 1,000 GPS-competent four-wheele FRV and 150 two-wheel units, which were equipped with mobile phone and mobile data terminal (MDT). The location based system (LBS) is installed to trace the location of the collar in the emergency in the Dial-100 call center. These emergency vehicles of the police reach the aid site at the earliest, due to which the resolve to bring justice to the door of the people is becoming meaningful through Dial-100/112.
