Where are the most soldiers deployed in Pakistan?
Pakistan is giving a jackal to India, first Army Chief Asim Munir raised the mention of war from America’s soil, then former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto also made the same ignorance. Its hallmark is the deployment of the army in PoK, Pakistan has deployed most of the soldiers in PoK.
According to a report by DG ISPR of India’s Defense Ministry, Pakistan has deployed about 1056 army personnel per one lakh population in PoK. If we look at the average of the whole of Pakistan, it is many times more than that. According to Pakistani media, Pakistan has deployed X corps here, it is also called Rawalpindi Corps. It also includes 12th Infantry Division, such as Nellum Valley, Cursing, keep an eye on sensitive places.
Where many soldiers deployed in Pakistan?
In PoK, Pakistan has deployed the highest number of 1056 army personnel at an average of one lakh population. The second number is the Gilgit Baltistan region where 869 soldiers are deployed on an average relative to the population of one lakh. In Pakistan’s Punjab province, this number ranges from 300 to 399, while Balochistan area which is the most affected by terrorists, Pakistan has deployed 200 to 299 soldiers per one lakh population.
What is the reason for the most army deploying in PoK?
1- threat from India
PoK is the most sensitive issue between India and Pakistan, Pakistan calls it Azad Kashmir. Pakistan claims the whole of Kashmir, while in reality the entire Kashmir belongs to India. The Modi government has constantly said to withdraw its Kashmir. In such a situation, Pakistan keeps the army and paramilitary forces deployed in large numbers so that any military pressure can be responded to immediately.
2- Security of terrorists
India has stored several times by entering PoK, this is the area where a large number of Pak terrorists are sheltered. It is here that there are training camps of terrorist organizations like Lashkar -e -Taiba, Jaish -e -Mohammed. The army is also deployed here to provide their safety and logistic support. Apart from this, there are many groups which are not satisfied with Pakistan and demand freedom, some organizations have openly advocated to go with India. The presence of the army is also an excuse to control these.
3- China’s economic corridor
One objective of major deployment of Pak Army in PoK is also the security of the economic corridor of China. Many important projects of CPEC pass through PoK and Gilgit Baltistan. This area is also on the target of rebellious groups, many times there have been incidents that China has also lashed out by Pakistan. Pakistan consider them as national security projects and keeps the army deployed so that they can be protected from the rebels.
