In the Swachhata Sangam-2025 to be organized by Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai Sai Urban Administration and Development Department on August 12, 2025 in Bilaspur district, he will honor the hygiene Didis who have made Chhattisgarh proud of the national level and honor them. Cities have to be made clean and beautiful in cleanliness confluence

Dr. Basavaraju S., Secretary, Urban Administration and Development Department Told that in the cleanliness confluence, cleanliness will be honored by the office of cleanliness, which contribute significantly in making cities clean and beautiful. Seven urban bodies who excelled in the Swachh Survekshan 2024-25 have received the distinction of rewarding President Draupadi Murmu in New Delhi. In the program, along with these urban bodies, more than 30 urban bodies who perform best at the division level will also be awarded.

A state level competition will be launched to increase the standards of cleanliness and urban beautification in urban bodies at Cleanliness Sangam. Through this competition, along with strengthening urban cleanliness, good governance will encourage administrative skills and urban beautification. This initiative will not only help in making cities clean and beautiful, but will also promote the quality of life of citizens. It will motivate the public representatives, officials and citizens of every urban body to recognize and improve their abilities in the field of cleanliness and urban beautification.

In the program, GIS-based property tax live portal will be inaugurated for the facility of depositing online property tax in three municipal corporation-Birgaon, Bhilai-Chaoda and Dhamtari-43 municipalities. Thus simultaneously, the introduction of online property tax deposit in 46 cities is an important step towards modernizing local self -government and providing home facilities to citizens. This will also increase the speed of tax collection.

Inauguration of 24 works, Bhoomi Pujan of 25 works

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will inaugurate development works worth more than Rs 260 crore on the occasion of Swachhata Sangam. Under this, they will inaugurate 24 construction and development works costing more than Rs 63 crore 57 lakh of various departments in Bilaspur district and Bhoomi Pujan of 25 works costing more than Rs 197 crore. In the program, they will also distribute material and checks to the beneficiaries of various schemes.

Apart from this, he will do Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of Atal Path from Arpa Indrasetu to Ram Setu under the Chief Minister’s Nagrothan Yojana, and the Bhoomi Pujan of construction of Azad Chowk road from Mangla Chowk costing Rs five crore nine lakh rupees.
