US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin are scheduled to meet in Alaska on 15 August. During this historic meeting, the Ukraine War released for more than 3 years is to be discussed. According to a report, Trump is also ‘considering’ inviting Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelanski in this meeting. Earlier, Jailonsky warned that any meeting would prove to be a failure without including Ukraine.
NBC News quoted three people aware of internal talks about the meeting as saying that there is a discussion on inviting Ukrainian leader. A senior American official allegedly stated that it is absolutely possible to have Zelansky, but nothing has been decided yet. The officer allegedly further said, “Everyone is hopeful that this will happen.”
Jailonski has already warned
Jailonski’s response to the Trump-Putin Summit was negative, warning that Kieve would have to involve any dialogue to eliminate Europe’s biggest struggle since World War II.
Jailonsky said, “Any decisions taken without Ukraine are also against peace. They will not get anything. These are lifeless decisions, they will never be effective.” Now when it is being talked about include Jailonski in the discussion, then it has to be seen what solution will be found for this meeting.
Putin can keep your demands
It is expected that Putin will use this summit to put forward Russia’s demands for the ceasefire agreement. Speaking to reporters at the White House on Friday, Trump admitted that any peace agreement could include ‘exchange of some areas’. Reacting to this, Jailonsky has said that he will not leave any area in lieu of ceasefire.
