There was chaos in Barheta village of Narsinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh when the news spread that colorful and precious stones were coming out of the land of the forest department. On seeing this, a large number of villagers reached the spot and started digging to remove stones. The situation deteriorated so much that there was a situation like shock and stampede among the people. The video of this chaos became increasingly viral on social media. It is seen in the 33-second video that people are seen falling on top of each other for stone.
In fact, the news spread among the villagers that these stones coming out of the ground are precious and in this hope, hundreds of people flocked to the forest land with their tools. During this time, some people were engaged in digging regardless of their lives. It can be seen in the video revealed from the scene how people are trying to get a falling stones on each other. As soon as the information of this entire incident came, the team of the forest department came into action and the help of the police force was taken to control the situation.
DFO Kalpana Tiwari gave information
DFO Kalpana Tiwari said that white colored stones have been seized from the spot, which are being identified and investigated. He also clarified that until the investigation is completed, the entry of common people in the said area will be restricted. In view of security, forest workers have been installed there, so that no one can dig there.
Regarding this entire incident, a local youth Tarun Girdhonia said that as soon as the news spread in the village that the stone was precious, a crowd of people gathered there. Everyone hoped that they too could find some precious stones. The forest department has expressed apprehension that these stones may be connected to any mineral element, but it will be confirmed only after investigation.
