State CM Vishnu Dev Sai attended a huge Kavad Yatra organized in Gudiyari area of Raipur on the auspicious occasion of Sawan month. CM Sai prayed for the prosperity, happiness, peace and public welfare of the state by Rudrabhishek Lord Bholenath.

Chief Minister Sai (CM Vishnu Deo Sai) said that “Thousands of Kanwariya are doing a padyatra for Jalabhishek from Maruti Mangalam Bhavan, Gudhiyari to Hatkeshwar Nath Mahadev Temple.” He said that the event works to keep the glorious cultural tradition of Chhattisgarh alive and reflects the depth of our faith. The Kanwar Yatra of Sawan month is a symbol of faith, devotion and dedication of Shiva devotees.

Highlighting the specialty of Lord Hatkshwar Nath Mahadev Temple at Mahadev Ghat in Raipur, the Chief Minister said that its religious and cultural significance is very deep. Every year thousands of devotees gather here for Jalabhishek, which shows the spiritual tradition and cultural consciousness of Chhattisgarh.
