The Chief Minister’s statement came at a time when two nuns of Kerala arrested in the fort on charges of conversion and human trafficking have been released after getting bail from the NIA court. A few days ago, Sai said that he would bring strict laws in the next session for conversion.

He also indicated about his government’s cabinet expansion during a discussion with journalists in the capital. On the question of journalists, the Chief Minister said that wait, it will happen very soon. Please tell that two posts of ministers are vacant in Sai government.

Prime Minister will attend Amrit Rajat Festival

Sai said that the Amrit Rajat Festival will be organized on the completion of 25 years of the establishment of the state. The festival will run from 15 August 2025 to 21 March 2026. Chief Minister Sai said that in this connection, he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him, which has been accepted by the Prime Minister.

The Chief Minister said that during the stay in Delhi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Water Power Minister C.R. Patil and Sports Minister Mansukh Mandavia also met. He said that various proposals related to the development of Chhattisgarh have been discussed.

Gadkari approves work of Rs 7000 crore

The Chief Minister said that Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has approved road projects worth Rs 7000 crore in the state. At the same time, Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandavia has assured Bastar Olympics to be held at the national level in the form of Khelo India Tribal Games, which will give a nationwide recognition to tribal games.

Chief Minister Sai also informed the Prime Minister about the Maoist activities in the state and the action against him. He said that due to the promptness of the security forces, Maoism is now towards the end.
