The game of vacating people’s pockets continues in the state by pretending to direct direct recruitment to government posts. In the name of providing direct government jobs, the incident of cheating of millions is being carried out from people.

One such case has come up from the capital Raipur, where 20 lakh 50 thousand rupees were cheated from two youths in the name of getting a hostel warden job. The accused is a contract peon working in the ministry, who called himself a clerk and took the youth in a trap. Tikrapara police station has registered a crime.

Station in -charge Vinay Singh said that Janak Kumar Sahu, a resident of Bhatagaon, has filed a written complaint. Janak met Dadhibal Singh alias David Tigga in October 2023. Describing himself as a clerk in Indravati Bhavan, Ministry, David said that he has access to higher officials and he can get a government job. At the same time, recruitment for 300 posts of Hostel Superintendent (Hostel Warden) in the Tribal and Scheduled Tribes Development Department was released.

David assured Janak that he would get him and his friend Sanjay Chauhan to get this job. Instead, he demanded 20 lakh 50 thousand rupees. Janak and Sanjay transferred this amount to David’s accounts through bank medium.

Name not found when the list comes

Please tell that the accused filled the application form from both and asked for the admit card, which deepened the trust. But when the result of recruitment came in December 2024, both of them were not in the list. When he contacted David, he started to defraud.

On putting pressure on suspicion, David gave a check of Rs 10 lakh, which bounced. After this, the victim realized the fraud and lodged a complaint of cheating against the accused at Tikrapara police station.
