State Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that “Ladli Bahna Yojana” is not just a scheme, but is a symbol of honor, empowerment and self-reliance of sisters and daughters. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is constantly trying for the economic progress, social harmony and prosperity of women.
According to the intention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, various schemes are being run for the welfare of farmers, youth, poor and women in the state. Dr. Yadav said this while addressing the women’s conference under the Matrashakti Utsav held at Sinhapur in Satna district.
Increased assistance in the account of “Ladli Bahi”
The Chief Minister announced that in the month of Sawan, Ladli sisters will be given an additional ₹ 250 with ₹ 1250. After Deepawali, this amount will be increased to ₹ 1500 per month till brotherhood. By the year 2028, this assistance will be transported to ₹ 3000 per month in a phased manner. He said that at present an amount of more than ₹ 1500 crore is being transferred every month under the scheme.
Multidimensional efforts of women empowerment
- Thousands of women have become millionaires through self-help groups.
- Necessary assistance is being provided for daughters for education, bicycle, laptop, and higher education.
- Women have been given reservation in local bodies.
- Special assistance is being provided to women working in industries.
- PM Modi has resolved to give 33% reservation to women in the Lok Sabha assembly.
Gaupalan, Irrigation and Housing Schemes
Dr. Yadav said that to increase the income of farmers, “whose house, that Gopal” campaign is being carried out. The state aims to increase 9% of milk production to 20%.
Along with grant to cow slaughter
- Assistance of ₹ 40 per cow
- Grant of ₹ 10 lakh on 25 cows cradle
- More than 5,000 cow rancor will be provided with 130 acres of land.
- Also, the work of delivering canals, solar pumps and Narmada water for irrigation continues rapidly. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, a target is to provide irrigation facility in 100 lakh hectares by 2028.
Inauguration of 232 development works worth 93 crore
The program inaugurated and worshiped 232 development works worth more than ₹ 93 crore, including 135 works worth ₹ 44 crore and Bhoomi Pujan of 97 works worth ₹ 49 crore.
The Chief Minister also informed that a solar plant will be set up in Sinhapur and homestay projects will be encouraged to promote tourism.
Sisters received blessings on Rakshabandhan
The sisters presented a 20 feet long rakhi on the stage to the Chief Minister. He himself swinged and gave gifts to the girls. In the program, exhibition of government departments, observation of products of women groups and “Name of a tree mother” campaign were also presented to Nawankur sisters.
