Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has said that blood donation is a sacred work, which not only gives life to a needy, but is also the best example of our service spirit towards humanity. Chief Minister Sai was addressing a program organized by the Indian Red Cross Society in village Bagia in Jashpur district today. The Chief Minister said that it is a matter of happiness that in Jashpur, citizens of every class are actively participating in voluntary blood donation and health awareness programs and are making their valuable contribution in social service.
The Chief Minister said that we all know what is the importance of blood in our life. At the right time, the blood of the suitable blood group can be protected, so blood donation has been called Mahadan. The most blood donation camps are organized through the Red Cross Society in the state, which is an excellent example of public service. I call on this platform to the people of this platform that they should become as part of the life saving work as much as possible.
Health services are expanding
Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is constantly committed to expand health services in the state. Recently, we have taken concrete initiative towards ensuring quick medical help by flagging the ambulance services. He said that I want to assure all citizens that our government is determined to provide quality, accessible and quick health services to every person.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai distributed certificates to the lifelong members of the Indian Red Cross Society Jashpur in a program organized at the Camp Office Bagia and released the blood-marble booklet. During this, he appreciated his contribution by providing certificates to Neeraj Sharma, Ajay Kumar Kushwaha and Shiv Narayan Soni.
Learn the blood-friend directory
It is noteworthy that there is an innovative initiative of blood-friend directory, district administration and Indian Red Cross Society, District Jashpur, under which 480 voluntary blood donors’ names and mobile numbers have been listed. Through this directory, whenever a patient needs blood, he can get blood directly by contacting the numbers given in the list.
With this effort, the patients will not need to wander around and they will be able to get blood on time. If a person or social worker wants to become a blood-friend, then he can fill Google form by scanning the QR code given in the directory. Also, the Collector and Chairman, Indian Red Cross District Headquarters, Jashpur (Collectorate Complex, Room No. 122) can also register as a blood-friend.
