The missing mobile phone was discovered by the Korba Police with the help of the Central Ecuipment Ideente Register (CEIR) portal and delivered to their real owners. In the presence of Superintendent of Police Siddharth Tiwari, 122 lost mobile phones were recovered in the SP office meeting room and handed over to their owners. For this, the police launched a special campaign with the help of CIIR portal. Under the direction of SP Tiwari, the team of Cyber Cell Korba, led by Additional Superintendent of Police Nitish Thakur, Municipal Superintendent of Police Darri and Cyber Cell in -charge Vimal Pathak, located the missing mobiles and recovered them from various districts.

Value of mobiles Rs 18.50 lakh

Sub -Inspector Ajay Sonwani and cyber cell team contributed to this campaign. Police said that the estimated price of the recovered mobiles is 18.50 lakhs. In the last six months, cyber cell Korba has been returned to their real owners by tracking 200 missing mobile phones. He said that if the mobile is lost then go to the CEIR website.

Block Stunn- Select Last Mobile option. In it, upload details, copy of FIR, identity card and mobile bill. Also submit the form. After this, police and telecom companies will track mobiles. On receiving the mobile, information will be given by the concerned police station or cyber cell.

The police have asked the general public that if someone’s mobile phone is lost or stolen, immediately file a report on the CEIR portal or inform the nearest police station-cyber cell, so that the mobile can be recovered soon with technical assistance.
